Sydney Ignacio was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. At the age of 14, he began his dance training earned “Commended” and “Honors” in his Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations during his ballet studies at Steps Dance Studio. He travelled internationally with “Earthsavers DREAMS Ensemble” as a UNESCO Artist for Peace and was a soloist for Philippine Ballet Theater for five years. In 2006, Sydney moved to the US to pursue his career in the performing arts. He danced for Verb Ballets, Washington Reflexions Dance Company, CityDance 2 and CityDance Ensemble, El Teatro De Danza Contemporanea de El Salvador and Vaudoux Aerial Dance Theatre.He won the Bronze Medal at the 2014 U.S National Pole Championships level 4 and Atlantic pole championship professional level male category 2015. Sydney is currently a member of Sax lounge DC performer since 2010 Also a member Sir At Sax Male Burlesque.
